Robert: I'm glad you're both here.

Fayt: You guys too, Dad!

Fayt: What's going on, Dad? Is Aldian attacking?
Robert: Probably not. From the looks of their weapons, it's most likely...

Fayt: Most likely... what?
Robert: Never mind- we must get out of here. Let's go.

Male Soldier: There's a long line to use the transporter up ahead. You'll have to wait your turn here.
Robert: I see. We'll wait, then.
Male Soldier: Damn! How'd they get in this far!?
Male Soldier: Get going! Keep moving forward!!!

Fayt: Yeah!

Ryoko: Robert-
Robert: Yes- as I suspected.

Fayt: Dad!?
Robert: Run, you two!

Sophia: Uncle Robert!
Robert: Just get out of here!

Fayt: But-!
Ryoko: Get moving now! You have to protect her!
Robert: That's right, hurry! Don't worry about us!

Fayt hesitates.

Robert: It's all right. We'll be at the Evacuation Facility soon.

Fayt: Promise, Dad?
Robert: Promise!

Fayt: Let's go, Sophia!
Mysterious Soldier: They're getting away! Use the incapacitator!

We get into a fight with two incapacitators, those little metal spider things. They're fairly slow and don't deal a ton of damage, so they're pretty easy to dispatch, even for two teens holding iron pipes.

Sophia: I'm scared.

Fayt: Don't worry. Just stay behind me.

Sophia: O-okay.

Fayt: (What are we gonna do? There's no end to these... Huh?)

Fayt: What the heck is that!?

Peppita jumps off Ursus's shoulder.

Peppita: I came to check out what all the racket was about and found ya guys in trouble...
Ursus: Lil' lady!

Peppita: Whatdaya want Ursus... What the-!?

We get into another fight with incapacitators, four of them this time, but with Peppita as our third party member. As soon as it's over, another identical fight starts again.

Peppita: No problemo! But we should get outta here. There'll be more of those things coming!

Peppita: It's already a complete disaster over that way. C'mon, let's get outta here!

Fayt: A complete disaster-? But, my parents!

Sophia: Hey, wait a sec! Fayt!?

Sophia: Forget it! Didn't you hear Peppita? It's too dangerous back that way!

Fayt: But-!

Sophia: Forget it!

Peppita: Come on you two! I already said it was too dangerous!

Sophia: Please, stop him! He says he's going back!

Peppita: What? Back... there!?

Fayt: Mom and Dad are back there! I have to go help them!

Peppita: Didn't you hear me? It's an inferno back there!

Sophia: It's way too dangerous!

Fayt: C'mon you two, out of my way!

Peppita: Ohhh, that's it! Ursus?

Peppita: Look, we'll all die if we don't get out of here, now!

Male Soldier: This is an evacuation shelter located underneath Hyda IV. Please wait in your assigned rooms until the rescue ship arrives. You are allowed to move freely about the facility, but there are some restricted areas. Please refer to the consoles or ask the nearest official for detailed instructions.

Peppita: All right, then...

Peppita: Well, we're going now.

Peppita: Hey... cheer up!

Sophia: Fayt...

Fayt: ... Shall we go? There's nothing left to do here, anyway.

Sophia: Uh, yeah.

Sophia: I'm sure your parents are okay. Don't worry...

Fayt: ... Yeah, I know. Let's go.
Male Soldier: Oh, one second, please.
Male Soldier: You've been assigned to room #506. Remember that.

Fayt: Okay. 506, got it.
Male Soldier: I expect the rescue transports will be here soon. Please try to relax and wait.

Sophia: Okay.

With that we're now in the evacuation facility, which is a big square with two teleporters and 8 rooms to visit. One of those (506) is ours, and the others belong to the NPCs we met during the hotel section. Dolphin boy is here in room 508 and made it out safely, thankfully.

Our next target isn't actually room 506 (not just yet), but room 509, where the Rossetti troupe is currently staying.

Piccolotto: Alright, time to discuss our business plans... Hmm?

Peppita: What!? Fayt?

Peppita: Ahh, Gonnella! You should really watch your tongue!!!

Fayt: No, it's okay. It's just like he said. Even if I went to help them, I wouldn't have been able to do anything...

Fayt: If only I was a little stronger...

Sophia: Fayt...
Ursus: Strength, it's not enough. You can't beat them.
Dulcinea: He's right. It's not your fault. I bet they were professional soldiers... There's nothing we can do against people like that.
Piccolotto: And, you know... Just because they didn't make it to this evacuation facility doesn't mean your parents are dead. You know, they might be hiding out somewhere. Don't give up so soon.
Gonnella: Or, they might've been captured or something, eh.

Peppita: Gonnella!
Ursus: It's all right. If they've been captured, then you can go rescue them.
Piccolotto: Anyway, you'll just have to wait a little longer. What could you possibly do right now? We don't even know what's going on.

Fayt: Yeah... You're right.
Dulcinea: Why don't you go to your room and rest a bit? You're too tired to do anything right now.

Peppita: Or ya could just rest here with us. Wouldn't you feel safer here with everyone?

Fayt: Thank you, but I'm fine. I want to think things over, anyway.

Peppita: Uh, okay.

When we go out and visit another room or two, we can find Peppita sitting in the staircase (PA).

Fayt: What is it?

Peppita: Do you think, maybe, I should have minded my own business that time?

Fayt: That time?

Peppita: Yeah, you know, when we were escaping to this place, I had Ursus grab you. That's why you got separated from your family. It's all my fault, isn't it?

Sophia: Peppita...

[If we choose No, that's not true.]

Fayt: That's not true. I would've been killed if you guys hadn't stopped me. It's all right. Don't worry about it.

Peppita: Oh... well that's a relief.

Fayt: Of course. Why would you ask such a thing?

Peppita: Umm... It's nothing. I just kinda worried about it.

[If we choose Why couldn't you just mind your own business!?]

Fayt: You're right, you shouldn't have done that!

Fayt: If you hadn't butted in, I could have gone to find my parents. What gave you the right to stop me!?

Peppita: You're right. I'm sorry.
Ursus: It's not Missy's fault. It's all Ursus'...

Peppita: No, Ursus!

Peppita: I understand that, kinda. I understand regrets about things you could have done differently... I've done things like that before, too. ... I understand what it's like.

Peppita: But as long as you're still alive, good things can still happen! Well, only bad things may happen from now on, but... ... I think that, at least, there have also been good things in the past... so...
Ursus: Missy...

Peppita: Sorry. I'll leave now.

Which of the two options we pick will change Peppita's dialogue if we talk to her either in the hallway or in the Rossetti's room. If we were supportive, she'll be cheerful and say that she's sure everything will turn out okay. If we weren't, she'll sound upset and tell Fayt that he should never say things like that because his parents care about his safety.

After that, we can keep going by finally going to our assigned room.

Fayt: Sophia? You okay?

Sophia: Yeah... I think.

Fayt: You're exhausted. You should rest.

Sophia: Yeah.

Fayt: Don't worry, just rest.

Sophia: Umm... Fayt?

Fayt: What is it?

Sophia: Will you stay here until I fall asleep? I don't want to be alone.

Fayt: Sure, I'll stay. Just relax and go to sleep.

Sophia: Thanks.

Fayt: Good night...

We can keep exploring if we want, but nothing's changed from before Sophia went to bed, so it's just another check before a point of no return. Fayt heads to bed as well.

Fayt: (... Oh yeah. The attack on Hyda...)

Fayt: (... It's 03:52 AM. Still so early.)

An alarm starts ringing again.

Fayt: W-what now!?

Sophia: Fayt... What's that sound?

Fayt: Sounds like they're going to make an announcement.

A jingle plays just in time.

Official Announcement: This is an update for all refugees.
Official Announcement: We now know the recent raid on the resort planet Hyda was a surprise attack by Vendeen.

Fayt: (Vendeen? Aren't they that military power that's currently at war with Aldian! They did turn down the Federation's offer of aid some time ago, but there were no open hostilities.)
Official Announcement: Remote Station #7 mounted an attempt to defend Hyda IV, but it was thwarted by a tactical Vendeeni strike. Currently, the Pangalactic Administration is scrambling ships from surrounding regions, but Vendeeni forces still have control of this sector. We request that all civilians begin boarding rescue shuttles for immediate evacuation to Remote Station #6. Please do not panic. Refer to the nearest console or attendant for further instructions.

Fayt: Sophia, we gotta go. ... You okay?

Sophia: Yeah, I'm fine. A little sleep helped calm me down.

Fayt: Hold on just a little longer. We'll be safe once we reach Remote Station #6.

Sophia: Okay.

Fayt: What do you mean 'unknown'?
Computer: Both Robert Leingod and Ryoko Leingod's positions were lost on Galactic Year 772-12141923.

Fayt: Lost!? What then?
Computer: The information system is currently experiencing technical difficulties. Confirmation is not possible at present.

Fayt: What? Oh no!

We get control back again, to take another teleporter! Some of the NPCs have new dialogue if we talk to them now, but outside that we can head straight there. Dolphin boy has some words of wisdom for us.
